Description

The Annotations section in Shopify's Sections Pro app is a customizable section that allows you to add annotations to your Shopify store. Annotations are textual notes that provide additional information about a particular area or feature of your website. These are useful for highlighting special features, explaining complex items, offering tips, and much more. This section provides a lot of flexibility with customizable fonts, colors, sizes, headings, and content. You can also adjust the position of the annotation.

Configuration

The configuration is split into various settings mostly focusing on the appearance of annotations. Some of the adjustments that can be made include:

• Font Settings: This includes whether to override the default theme fonts, font size, line height, and color for both the headline and text.
• Color Settings: The background color setting allows you to choose the color of the background for the section.
• Dimension Settings: Allows you to adjust the maximum width of the section, grid gap, padding, and element spacing. There is also a setting to change the way the section is displayed.
• Caption Settings: This includes adjustment of the caption text size.
• Content Settings: This is where you upload an image for the section, provide a headline, and add a description. There is also a setting to show buttons which once enabled will let you customize the button's text, link, and style.
• Annotation Settings: The Annotations block allows customization of each annotation. This includes text size, color, background color, its position, and link. Each block will represent one annotation.
